The company was founded after the Second World War, in the first half of the 1950s, and began its activity in the field of public works in the regions of central Italy.
Starting from the early 1990s, the company expanded its international presence in Algeria and the Balkan area, later also reaching Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Georgia . At the end of the 1990s, it extended its activities into Central Asia by winning major contracts, successfully executed in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and more recently in Georgia .

All the projects carried out in Eastern Europe and Central Asia were financed by the most important institutions, such as:

  • International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)

  • European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

  • Asian Development Bank (ADB)

  • European Investment Bank (EIB)

  • Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)
